The Society publishes a quarterly magazine, The Johnson County, Kansas Genealogist, in March, June, September and December of each year. One copy of the Genealogist is mailed to each individual or family membership. New members will receive back issues for the year they join at the next regular meeting. New members joining after July 1st and paying half the annual dues will receive only the September and December issues. Issues are mailed third class and will be forwarded if a forwarding notice has been filed with the United States Postal Service by the member. Members should keep the Society advised of changes of address in order to avoid any delay in receipt. Back issues of the Genealogist are available at $3.00 per copy. Submission of original articles suitable for publication is welcome. The Quarterly Editor reserves the decision to publish material and the right to edit as appropriate. Reprinted articles must be accompanied by the publisher's permission to use the article. The deadline for each issue is the regular meeting for the month prior to the month of publication.
